Harry and Walter Go to New York
1976
Here is another example of Drew's ability to change style to
accomodate
the style and spirit of the film. The story takes place at the
turn
of the century so a style reminescent of the art style of the period
was
used. A bit Art Nouveau and a bit from Gibson places the film in
the proper period. This time it's pen and ink to mimic that
period.
While he uses period characteristics, his composition and powerful
design
make it completely Drew's work. Of course his depiction of the
personalities
is impeccable as always.
