A Piece of the Action

Something silly: This may be found hard to believe, the world is so silly.  Many people thought for a long time that Drew was a black man.  He being so reclusive, photos were rare.  He was thought to be black because he often would paint pictures of black people.  He painted the MJQ in his record album cover days, this example of 'A Piece of the Action', and others like 'Coming to America' with Eddie Murphy.  Somehow people think that a white guy couldn't paint black guys.  Like somehow they think the differences or sensitivities would preclude understanding and compassion.  Cool thing about artists, they should, can and do 'become all things to everyone'.  Why, Drew can even paint women!
