The Last Remake of Beau Geste
1977
If you are paying attention you may see that the head of Micheal
York
seems a bit forced into it's position as well as being out of
kilter.
Once more an addition to the image well after the painting was
completed
was requested. Drew did the painting of Micheal on a separate
piece
of paper and was only able to supply this to the studio. It was
left
to the studio to strip it into the artwork by mechanical means.
The
final product was not to the artist's satisfaction and leaves the
printed
poster looking a bit poorly composed because of the arbitrary
alteration.
However, people seemed to respond to the image non the less.
