Flying Tiger Line

This is another product of the time Drew spent working in the design studio.  One of the clients was Flying Tiger Freight Lines.  This commercial freight line was originally formed by the famous  American volunteer group in China who flew P-40s against the Japanese in China before Pearl Harbor.  Drew did a number of paintings for them while in the employ of the firm Pacific Eye & Ear.  This poster is actually a route map.  Drew thought a plain old route map in all it's practicality would be boring, so he painted this.
